Advanced Stationary Point Concentration Technique for Leakage Mitigation and Small Drone Detection With FMCW Radar

With the increase in threats posed by small drones, development of radars to detect such drones has become a key necessity. In earlier studies, we proposed stationary point concentration (SPC) technique for drone detection using frequency-modulated continuous-wave (FMCW) radar. The SPC is novel approach mitigating leakage, which an inherent problem FMCW improves signal-to-noise ratio reducing noise floor and provides accurate distance velocity information drones. However, this shortcomings its realization. article, present drawbacks propose advanced (A-SPC) technique. can overcome while implementing benefits experimental results verify A-SPC demonstrate robustness usefulness.
